When the time came to leave, the headmaster asked me if I wanted to stay. I thought of all my students, the joy that I felt teaching them my mother language through interactive games and conversations. Without hesitation, I said YES! We negotiated a contract where I would come back for one year, stay at the school rent free, eat meals with students, teach around 20 hours per week at $22/hr, and two paid vacations. What a dream!

I’ve been back for one month now, and time is flying by so fast. I love Vietnam. I never ever saw myself coming here, but I’m so glad I did. My students give me purpose to get up every day and teach them how to be more confident in speaking. They are getting so good at English that some of them use it to confide in me. I love them.

Guys, I wouldn’t have been able to do this without MyTefl. It’s affordable and accomplishable! They even sent me my original certificate because it makes the visa cheaper! I am really glad that I took this course and took a chance living in a foreign country. It has been the best decision I’ve ever made so far.
